Topic : Speaker will be  Kim Scheuer, MD

Dr. Scheuer is a Board a certified Family Practitioner and Lifestyle Medicine physician and will cover the following information from 1-1:45pm: 

1. How to locate a plant-based doctor, 2. Tests you might consider discussing with your physician, and 3. How to effectively communicate your needs to a doctor.

Potluck guidelines: bring a Heart-Healthy dish as we’ll be only about a week after Valentines Day!:

  • Bring a dish that is free of animal products (meat, poultry, pork, fish, dairy).
  • Focus on whole foods like beans/legumes, fruits, vegetables, and grains
  • Use minimal salt and no oil, vegan butter or vegan mayonnaise
  • Share the recipe or a link to it with others
  • Bring your own beverage to drink
  • ALSO, please bring your own dishes and silverware!
